Welcome to Zambia Council for Social Development (ZCSD). ZCSD is a non-governemental organization with more than 50 member organisations. ZCSD was established in 1974 with its head office in Lusaka and several provincial liason organizations in eight districts.

Programme AreasZSCD is trying to achieve its goal through the following result areas. This result area focuses on providing relevant information, resources and support to CSO's, with a special emphasis placed on youth and women organisations, concerning their rights and their ability to effectively and freely operate.The principle outputs shall be: - Resource centres with necessary and accesible information pertaining to civil society's ability to effectively participate in Decision-making set up in the 9 provinces. - ZCSD will develop outreach programmes aimed at supporting members, especially at district level. |
